I know some of you out there have been waiting to see more of Baby “N” so here it is! She was the most smiley newborn baby I’ve ever photographed- Baby “N.” Photographing newborns is extremely challenging and time consuming. I’ll tell you though, there is nothing more rewarding than the moment I look over to see tears of joy streaming down the face of a new mom when I show her the images of her newborn baby. Thank you God for giving me the ability to provide memories like this for my dear clients and friends!
Carly’s tip of the day: If you’re expecting and want newborn photos, contact me BEFORE the baby is born to schedule a tentative time for their photo session. Newborn photography should be done no later than 10 days after the baby is born. After that time, it’s too difficult (and sometimes impossible) to keep them asleep while molding them into all these cute poses. When they’re fresh out of the womb, they’re used to being curled up in crazy positions and moved around a lot.

Thank you for the comments everyone! Joy- I actually had Carolyn holding the baby’s head & I removed her hand & arm in post production. Sometimes the baby will stay put like that without holding the head, but I didn’t want to take a chance & have her wake up :)
