Take a look at this beautiful mommy-to-be and her cute lil bun in the oven! Brooke’s contagious smile has been in front of my lens several times in the past couple years, and every time she is such a joy to photograph. This time we met for maternity portrait session at a park blanketed with yellow wildflowers. When I asked her to sit in the dirt while wearing a dress and platforms, she didn’t blink an eye. Yeaaa Brooke! Anything for an awesome photo, right? That’s why I love you! Keep checking back on my blog for pics of the baby…

Huntington Beach Maternity Photographer

I was SO excited when my fellow photographer friend Julie asked me to take her maternity portraits. We have been working together at weddings since the beginning of her pregnancy, and let me tell you- she’s powered through every wedding like a champ! We started Julie and Brad’s maternity portrait session with some intimate shots (indoors), then drove down to Crystal Cove in Laguna Beach for some natural, outdoor images. I really like splitting the session up between indoors with studio lighting and outdoors with natural lighting. Though if you’re down for getting half naked in public, that’s more than fine with me! Thank you Julie and Brad for being my FABULOUS models, and a special thank you to Brad who endured the 2 hours of being photographed! The wine was definitely a great idea, and I will continue to suggest it to my camera-shy male clients. I can’t wait to meet your little girl!

Laguna Niguel Family Portraits

Miriam and I met a few years ago when I was donating my photography services to The March of Dimes Walk for Babies event in Newport Beach. Shortly after we met, I shot a baby portrait session of her adorable little boy, Baby E. I was so excited when Miriam contacted me about a year later for a family portrait session / maternity portraits. A new member of the family was on its way! I couldn’t wait to see how much Baby E had grown since I last saw him. As I walked up to Baby E’s front door, he ran out of the house and excitedly greeted me. What a cute little man! While setting up my backdrop, I was entertained by Baby E’s rendition of various Coldplay songs on his guitar and drum set. I think we have a future rockstar on our hands.

Maternity Photography Orange County

Almost 5 years ago, I photographed Amy and Mike’s wedding at a gorgeous private estate in the hills of Orange. Now they are expecting their first child- a baby girl! Amy’s belly was nice and round, and she was the calmest pregant woman I’ve ever worked with. This shoot was especially fun because Amy was really involved in choosing fun props (love that red boa!) I still have a few red feathers in my studio Thank you Amy and Mike for being such loyal clients, and congratulations on your new bundle of love.
