Carly Daniel Photography is a husband/wife team who loves photography and loves each other. In 2008, we found ourselves on the other side of the lens during our own engagement session. Together, we experienced the stress of planning a wedding, then the anxious excitement leading up to our big day. In January of 2013, we were blessed with our first child and had the opportunity to be photographed for our very own maternity and newborn photo sessions. Most likely, we’ve been in your shoes.

Carly teaches even the shyest ladies how to be confident and look amazing in their photos. Chriss works with the guys to bring out their natural charm, and break down any fears of photography they may have had. He is also the lead cinematographer for CDP.

We bring a combined 25 years of photography experience to our business, and are honored to have received the 2010 & 2011 Wedding Wire Bride’s Choice Award and the 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015 The Knot Best of Weddings award. We have also been featured in various blogs and publications including: The Knot, Style Me Pretty, Orange County Bride, The Huffington Post, and The Orange County Register.

While we value a beautifully composed family or bridal portrait, we thrive on capturing those emotional moments that reveal the real “you.” Our style can be best described as a fusion of modern photographic trends, slightly traditional portraiture, and photojournalism. Our modern, progressive cinematography services are a perfect compliment to our wedding photography packages.
