Levyland Estates Wedding

Finally finished the post of this gorgeous wedding at Levyland Estates in Carlsbad!  Jessie & Jeff held a seaside ceremony, with a reception and crazy night of dancing at Levyland Estate.  There were so many unique details, all coordinated & designed by Laura Robertson from TOS Events.  Laura actually used one of the sailboat images from Jeff & Jessie’s engagement session as inspiration for the whole design scheme of the wedding.  As you can probably tell from the images, these two are clearly smitten with each other :)  You can see it in Jeff’s eyes when he looks at Jessie- he has found the woman of his dreams.  Enjoy…

Published Olympic Gold Medalist Esther Lofgren

It was so exciting to see my old high school friend Esther Lofgren compete in the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.  However, she not only competed, her United States Women’s Eight Rowing Team won the gold medal.  About a month later I got a Facebook message from Esther asking if I would shoot a portrait session with her shiny new medal.  That was an easy answer.  We photographed this session in Downtown Huntington Beach to really capture a balance of Esther’s athletic and feminine sides.  After we shot this session, The Huffington Post reached out to me to use the photos in an upcoming lifestyle article about Esther’s training and nutrition regimen.  Check out part of the article below and some additional photos of Esther’s session.

Rancho Las Palmas Wedding | Destination Wedding Photographer

Chriss and I had the opportunity to photograph Kelli and Cory’s wedding at Rancho Las Palmas Resort and Spa in Rancho Mirage.  We decided to make a mini vacation of it so we spent the weekend at this tranquil Palm Springs resort for our “babymoon.”  It was our last vacation as a babyless couple :)  The neutral color palette Kelli chose for her wedding was a perfect compliment to all the natural beauty of the Rancho Las Palmas property.  Hope you enjoy this awesome Palm Springs destination wedding…
