We’ve embarked on a few trips to TJ’s Lake Arrowhead home in the past, usually to wake board and do things that I don’t feel are appropriate to discuss on my blog. This time though, it was a very special trip because TJ would be marrying the love of his life- Ryane! TJ and Ryane are dear friends to Chriss and I, so it was such an honor to document their wedding weekend. We packed up the cameras, the baby, and Chriss’s parents and headed to Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa. We were lucky enough to have Chriss’s parents stay in a hotel room next door to us and watch Sadie while we worked and partook in the wedding festivities. SO happy we did that so we were able to enjoy some baby-free time. Chriss had the rare opportunity to be a part of the wedding party as a groomsmen :) Make sure you scroll to the bottom of the post to see the impromptu appearance by some random pirates (yes, I said pirates) and see what we did with Ryane and TJ the day after the wedding…It involves wake boarding and wedding attire ;-)
Shannon and Andre held a beautiful wedding at the Richard Nixon Library and Birthplace in Yorba Linda. This was our first wedding of 2014! Make sure to check out Shannon’s custom designed engagement ring and wedding band. It’s a stunner, just like Shannon :) I really loved getting to know this sweet couple throughout their wedding planning process, especially during their Disneyland engagement session. Notice all the cute Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse wedding details they included in their wedding decor. Thank you to Stephanie from Table7 Events for her fantastic organization skills. You make my job more enjoyable and I really appreciate that!
This mini photo session of my niece, Mirabella, was shot in the span of about 30 minutes. She was in town visiting from Leawood, Kansas so of course I had to take the opportunity to get some adorable photos of her horsing around at the park. She is one expressive little girl and I love her to death!
Megan and Kurt’s wedding was an intimate one- in a backyard of a quaint cottage in Laguna Beach. After their small beachside gathering, they headed straight to La Verne for a big reception with several hundred guests. It was a long day for these two and their families! We were so lucky to have gorgeous, warm weather all day despite the fact that it was the middle of November. Gotta love California!
After the ceremony and luncheon, Chriss and I headed down to the beach below Heisler Park in Laguna Beach for some sunset bride and groom portraits.
My dear friend from college, Sarah, has found her perfect match in Brent. To top it all off, he’s a chef! Brent has worked as the sous chef at some of the most chic restaurants in Orange County, and Sarah is an amazing baker. Her red velvet cupcakes are BETTER than Sprinkles, no joke!
